When the Hylian King goes to war with the Gerudo, he finds himself out matched by the power of Twinrova. In an attempt to save his kingdom, he makes a deal. His crown and his unborn daughter for the lives of his people. But when the baby goes missing, things go from bad to worse.  Almost 16 year pass before the Princess is discovered and placed under a sleeping curse. Only another carrier of the Triforce can awaken her, but Link is not the only one who want to wake her. Link must battle his way though out the land of Hyrule which has become trapped in the darkening powers of Twilight. Will the Hero clad in green reach Zelda in time to save her from a forced marriage? Or will Ganondorf become the new King of Hyrule?

"Hylian Folklore" is a fan fic of the The Legend of Zelda crossed with famous folklore. In this book, "A Retelling of the Twilight Princess" the stories of Twilight Princess and Sleeping Beauty are twisted together into an all new adventure for our favorite Hero in green.

Link, still possessing the Triforce of Courage, has been assigned to be Zelda's personal bodyguard and do something horribly wrong to please her majesty, which he does not partake in ever doing. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. However, years had passed as the hero rotted away in a murky cellar. Could he truly forgive the people their sins? The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. Two people, who will grow to rely on each other, torn apart by the final ruination. The blood moon rises... The shadow of the Calamity rises over the kingdom of Hyrule, rearing its terrible head, tearing apart all that stands in its way. The deadline was hanging over the head of the citizens who depend on the success of a powerless girl and the mettle of a simply talented boy. The full Triforce shall collide once more, and when it does, are they courageous enough to overcome the own demons that haunt them and stand firm against the evil ahead? Hey everyone! There will be quite a lot of angst so if you're not okay with that, then please don't read my book. There will be rather graphic descriptions of war and battles, and self-harm and depression will trigger some of you, but there are no sexual scenes, nor swearing.
