Mason's eyes instantly shot towards the back room and spoke the words I was dreading. "Is someone here?"
I made the mistake of playing dumb in a weak attempt to fool him. "What are you talking about? It's just me and you." BANG! BANG! BANG! Mason slowly begin to walk towards my bedroom door, closer towards the loud thumping noise. "Just you and me huh? What the hell was that? Fucking Casper?!" He pushed past me and stormed down the hall towards the bedroom door, quickly shoving it open. I knew what was behind the door and my heart fell to my stomach.
"Who the fuck are you and why are you in my house!"
I was paralyzed with fear, he wasn't suppose to be home until Christmas Eve. "Woah, nice uniform sailor boy." This was definitely not the time for him to make one of his corny jokes.
