In the fight against Haten, Iris is the key of this fight. If she brings the Winchesters' bodies to Haten, she will have his son by her side for ever, but if she disobeys the prince of hell, he will take away his son to death, Castiel.
Iris got to choice between the love of his son or his son's life with the Winchesters.
What will make her feel happier? His son dead? or his son's life destroy?.
