Kiflie is what they call him here in West Philly. You would expect most 17-year olds stressing over grades , chilling with friends, and getting drunk at big parties. But you see, Kiflie is different from most teenagers. He has to constantly deal with a drunk step-dad, money, a mother who can barely take care of herself, and a younger sister who doesn't even know what the hell is going on. While both of his older brothers are part of a gang, Kiflei knows he has to be the man of the family. But when he meets the town's most richest snobbiest girl, things start to take a turn. As Megan starts to confide in her own family problems, the two start to connect in the most peculiar way.
