It is one week before the commemoration dinner of a year after Operation Brighton. Officials and Rangers from all over the world are expected to appear. 

However, Wendy Volara, the famous "Flying Ranger" of Almia disappears. 

All that is left is a note of resignation. 

Sven Alba, Wendy's Ranger Partner cannot settle for this. He has known Wendy's dedication to her work and those around her for years. So, in a whim decision which could cost him his job, he decides go on a search after Wendy. 

But Sven does not know the secrets behind why she left. 

There are things Wendy has hidden for years, things that change everything. And some of them will change everything he thought he knew. Some of them even, about himself...

Brendan is fresh off his massive success as captain of Pasio University but doesn't have his mind set on repeating as champions, Brendan is full on the hunt for New Genesis, and any traces of it he can find. Brendan has taken his promise seriously, and he continues to vow that he will be able to face any legend. Elio, after redeeming himself and Selene by defeating Paulo in the World Championship, realized the threat of New Genesis, but is hesitant to join the fight. He's tired of fighting, and simply wants to settle down with his newlywed wife Lillie and complete his degree. Elio will soon find that no matter where he runs, ghosts of his past will continue to haunt him.

4 Months after the ending of Pasio University, the students return from Summer break and are ready to get back to University for Sophomore year. things are different now than they were months ago though, the team are now Champions, and have a constant target on their back. Chosen by Calem who is busy in Mistralton to lead them in to this new storm is Elio. Elio leans on his friends, especially Brendan, and tries to take the challenges that captain brings head on, and with more climactic showdowns with his greatest rival, Rich, on the horizon, he'll have to have the team at the top of their game if they want to defend their title. New rivals and challenges await the students of Pasio University, but things get dicey when the challenges on the field become insignificant compared to the ones off it... Calem is drafted 3rd overall by Skyla's Mistralton Aviators and settles in to his new home with great nervousness and excitement. He finds that the team of veterans and youngsters alike is not open to his immediate leadership, and the role is much harder than he ever could have anticipated. Will Calem be able to save another program from misery? Or will this time just be too much for him, and will he return to his roots for another year at Pasio University?
