Tommy and Vince knew exactly who Nikki and Mick were, and how everyone told them they were loose cannons and that they're not safe to be around. Turns out... that's not entirely true. Nikki's a bit socially awkward and a bit unpredictable at times, but he's not crazy, just not trusting. And Mick is just stand-offish, and highly protective of Nikki; though, he is in fact rude, but he doesn't know how to let people in. It was Vince that opened the can of worms first.
