Cas was bullied, abused, and broken. Her Dad was an asshole who was drunk all the time and blamed her for her Mother's death. Yet, she still continued to take care of him. She was bullied at school by Luke Hemmings. Everytime her friends would try to step in and stop it she wouldn't let them help. She just pushed her emotions down.
Luke didn't care about anyone. Luke and his monkeys ran the school. Every girl wanted them. He liked that. Well, every girl except Cas and her friends. So, what does he do? He picks on her since her knows she won't stop it. This goes on, until he sees what her life is truly like.

The worst thing to her would be moving back and remembering her horrible past and now having to start over again.
