Fawn Abney gets her first job at a local dog shelter. She's always loved dogs, loved their energy and their unconditional loyalty. She meets a very quiet and reserved boy, who seems to love dogs even more than she, he has a deep rooted connection with them, Fawn assumes. She doesn't think much of it at all. But what's truly lying beneath the surface of this dog-boys skin will be much more complicated than Fawn is ready for.
