My mom told me about love, but she never told me everything. I found out more, though. It's someone being your whole world. It's when you care about a person way more than you do yourself. It's when a simple "hey" makes you smile ear to ear. It's when you have been together for months, & still get butterflies in your stomach and your heart still races. It's when they finally leave (because they always do), and you're losing nights of sleep, and screaming their name, asking, "God, why?!" It's the burning in your chest. It's when you shut everyone out, because you don't want to talk to anyone but him. It's when you think you can move on, and you try, but cry because it doesn't feel right. It's when you can still smell what they smelt like after they leave you. It's when you can still feel the texture of their hand against yours. It's when you can still feel their arms wrapped around you. It's not always happiness.

// s o n d e r \\ - "the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own" Life can be dark, cold and lonely. Feeling betrayed, misunderstood, chewed up and spat out by the world, its when I get sonder, that I realise I might not be as alone as I thought. This is my autobiography, in a series of harsh and delicate words, painted as a story. Includes drugs, sex, alcoholism, depression, anxiety, self harm, suicidal tendencies, assault and other hard topics, so read at your own discretion. THIS IS THE TRIGGER WARNING. I wrote it, with the intention that, if there are people in the world who feel alone and misunderstood just like me, and can benefit in any way by relating to my stories in my poems, then I have done at least one thing right.
