What if Bellamy hadn't made it on the dropship? What if Clarke had chosen answers over Earth?
What if neither of them had ever made it to the ground?

10 months. 10 months was enough to numb the pain. Bellamy hated it, hated how the pain lessened because his sister deserved more. She deserved the world, and he couldn't give her it. Bellamy hadn't cried for her yet. He was shoving everything Octavia related into a file in his brain never to be looked at again. He hated himself for it, for trying to forget, but he knew that he would shatter if he tried to sort through it. A part of him had died that day in the backyard, a part of him had died with Lincoln and Octavia in that car crash. Her funeral was the hardest thing he'd ever had to do. Him and Clarke had driven home in silence, and then he'd gotten home and sat on the couch, unable to move, unable to think, too numb to do anything except stare. Woohoo! Another Bellarke story! Clarke ran through the forest, her muscles ached.. she couldn't seem to catch a breath.... why did she even bother getting back? She should just 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱. Then, just in that moment- she pictured Bellamy's sad face when she didn't return.. that image made her push harder.. faster. She ran- then.. heard the sound of shattering glass. 𝙊𝙝 𝙜𝙤𝙙. Clarke pushed herself to her final fall, she made it back to Becca's lab just in time to catch Bellamy, Raven, and everyone else right before they had taken off to space. She had fell earlier in the woods, causing her helmet glass to break. But at that time she couldn't worry about it- so she just breathed in the nice toxic air. "Lead the way babe" he said, winking at me. As usual, I rolled my eyes at his behavior. "Stop calling me babe" it was getting truly annoying. "Sorry, babe" Why. Just...why? We walked for a while in silent, both if us lost in our thoughts. "How long till we get there princess?" He asked, breaking the silent. Ouh..how I didn't miss the sound of his voice. "Don't know" I answers drily "Come on princess, you're no fun" he said, walking next me "Well, I wonder why" I said ironically "Maybe it is because you literally threw bugs at me, than you made me climb a huge-ahhhhhhh" before I finished my sentence, ground under my feet cracked and I began to fall down in some kind of a hole. Before I could hit the bottom, strong arm wrapped around my wrist and secured me. "Oh my god Bellamy please don't let me go!!!" I pleaded. His face was full of fear, probably same as mine. I looked under me and what I saw almost made me fade. Sharp stakes. Tens of sharp stakes were sticked under me. If I would of fell down, I saw would be dead for sure. Panic started to rise through my body. "Bellamy" I looked straight to his eyes "Please pull me up, please don't let me go" my eyes started to water and at this point, I didn't even mind. I will die for sure. He will drop me, after all I've been nothing but nasty to him, although he saved my life before. Hey, guys, welcome to another fanfiction for The 100. I was inspired to write this one after repeatedly listening to the amazing song "And She Translated Into the Sky" by Levi Patel, hence its name and a song I highly encourage you to listen to while you read. This fic is intended to act as an epilogue of sorts to the universe of my Season 7 rewrite, so you may need to read that first in order to have further context for a lot of the stuff that's going on. I also thought it would be kind of funny to suggest that the ending we got in the actual show was all just a dream, so I somewhat illustrate that concept in Bellamy and Clarke's chapter, though I should probably emphasize that the way in which I do so isn't that funny.
