 Halim feels as if she is not meant to be, being the youngest and only girl child in the family, she listens 
to emo music and shows almost no emotion or expression at all.

 In 12th grade, she is finally ready to escape from home and to college, after one more final year. She may be going far away from home, but almost all of the district goes there, Austin Michin college and then to their university.
