A new start. That's exactly what Gracie O'Connor is given. Despite not actually asking for one.. Gracie 'Stormy' O'Connor was a promising street fighter with killer anger issues. After a near death experience and neglectful parents -who had her admitted to a mental hospital for the past year. Gracie is shipped off, thousands of miles away from the streets she loves, from her friends who are more like family and locked away in 'Riverbay Private Boarding House' to finish her last year of school. The exact same school her obnoxious, annoying and spoilt brat of a cousin attends. She just wants to keep her head down for the year, keep her nose clean and then she'll be home-free. But when the resident 'bad boy' and ironically enough the headmasters son Charlie 'Blaze' Doherty sets his troubled eyes on her- she can't seem to stay out of trouble or away from him. Charlie has his own problems to deal with. A troubled and very dark past, a short fuse and some major mistakes - not forgetting some bad decisions that ultimately landed him at 'Riverbay' -ironically it's a respectable and exclusive school mainly for the rich and famous- The same school where his Dad is actually the principle... Go figure. He never cared much for the rules and always acted out - earning himself the reputation of the schools resident 'bad-boy'. He had planned to keep his head down for his final year -he didn't want to see his dad more than he had to but then Gracie happens and he can't not touch the girl with the haunted green eyes. Throw into the mix some wacky and unwanted friends. A jealous cousin with a vendetta. An 'it' girl with an obsession. Some lies. Some cheats. Crazy tumours. A chicken. A blaze of anger. A sob story or two. A hot best-friend. A jealous ex. A stolen credit-card and even a snow globe collection. Then we have a story of how the Blaze met the Storm. -C Xoxo

"Do you ever get scared of being happy?" He asked softly, also pretty tired. I kept my eyes closed as I answered, my fingers softly drawing circles on his chest. "All the time. I used to a lot more, but, the downfalls seem a lot less daunting now that I have someone to free-fall with," I replied, and I looked up to see him smile a little at that, "We're just dancing in the rain these days.. there's no need to be afraid of the inevitable clouds that are gonna pop up." • • • College.
