For the past two decades the fear and prejudice felt by humans in power has caused families to be torn apart and relocated. The recent discovery of “deviants”, or humans with natural mutations and abilities, has spurned the creation of the Wards. Tall enclosed structures closed off from the modern world where the “deviants” are catalogued and tagged. With the restrictions set by the Wards there will always be those who oppose the mistreatment and lead to an eventual uprising. Miles was trying to live as normal life as possible for a teenager, until the day the ward officers came knocking on his door. Now alone in Ward 22 Miles needs to decide if he will willingly follow the rules set for his new life, or help lead a revolution.
