“ The worst thing in the world here is fake happiness.” Kao said with edge and somehow that triggered something in Augustine.
“It’s not my fault! I just wanted to be happy!” Augustine yelled, his eyes widened as if he just witnessed a murder. His breathing becoming heavier and heavier as he buried his hands in his face.
“Now that’s just messed up, isn’t it?” Kao sneered at the poor boy.
”What’s so wrong about that?” Augustine said once more, his voice trembling in the process. “What’s so wrong is that you would abuse the usage of the drug just to satisfy your own sick needs.” Muttered Professor Adella as she slammed her fist on the table.
“Well, what did you expect me to do? I needed it. I want to take back the happiness of which I was taken away from!” Augustine yelled, for the first time, with anger in his voice. It sounded almost inhuman.
“The drug has finally worn off, huh?” Kao suddenly smiled while looking down. “Look around you, kid.” Kao muttered as an insane smile was plastered on his face whilst turning the light switch on.
