Written in my heart are songs of love, depth, genuinely immaculate love. But I have no words to speak, I find myself tongue-tied when you're near. Know this, if I cannot say, I love you. I do. To quote the dearly loved bride of Solomon, 'His mouth is full of sweetness, and he is wholly desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.' Our love is pure, my darling. For you have touched me in the deepest way, yet, you dared not to hold me near. You have sung a song of pure delight of the way you treasure me, yet, our words are minced not to awaken the torrents of sweet love from the Lord above. These words are true, know that I love you. Our Journey With Him [A Christian Romance]
Stephanie Darasimi Ajayi is a 27 year old freelance interior designer in Lagos, Nigeria. At that age, with no prospective husband, everyone starts to bother her about finding a partner, but no one seems to get that she is trusting God's timing with her future spouse. He has promised her that He has someone for her, but she has to trust His timing. Omotayo Jayden Williams just turned 30. Although he owns a thriving restaurant, his mum has decided not to see past the fact that he is not married and seems to have no desire for women. Why can't she understand that he just needs time to heal from his last relationship and reconnect with God. They meet in a not-so-pleasant way at a friend's wedding and seem to keep seeing each other around. Coincidence?... I think not. Come on this journey with Stephanie and Tayo as they seek to put God first while navigating this thing called life. ~ "Are you really upset with me? I was joking.... o de ti binu beyen (and you're already angry)" he chuckles. "Jokes are supposed to be funny, Tayo." I reply with an unimpressed look. "Alright, I'm sorry." He walks up to me and with his arms wrapped around my waist and my back to his chest, he whispers slowly delivering gentle kisses to my neck "Ife mi, ayo mi, eni okan mi (my love, my joy, the one who owns my heart), please forgive me for teasing you about your hair" I giggle at his attempt to win my forgiveness even though we both know that I wasn't really angry. Turning to face him, I'm in awe by the fact that this is what my life is now; engaged to this beautiful, God seeking, loving, intelligent man, I'm nothing short of blessed. God really does keep his promises. "Forgiven." ~ This book will not contain explicit scenes or cursing, but it will include the everyday struggles of anyone seeking God in this generation... That being said, I pray this book reaches and helps someone who feels like they relate to the topics in this book... HAPPY READING 🤗🫶🏾
I wished for a Boyfriend not a Girlfriend (GxG, Lesbian) °editing°
I was awakened by a buzz, but I don't want to get up, instead I lay still on my bed and about to dream again when I heard a THUD, I flinched at the sound. It's Saturday so I'm not expecting anyone at this early in the morning. I'm not a morning person, I am now annoyed to whoever it is. "Coming!" I yelled and started walking which took me sometime because I literally took my time, don't blame me I'm still sleepy, I opened the door to see a very beautiful woman, she has long wavy hair, thick eyelashes and pink pout lips and lastly... a body to die for. I frowned when I realized a high-school student? I can say because she's wearing a uniform. What is a beautiful high-school girl doing here knocking at my door? I asked mentally. I was about to ask her when she suddenly slipped inside my condo and sit on the couch cozily, I crossed my arms and face her still frowning. "Miss what are you doing here? What do you need?" I asked her curiously. She looked at me and smiled, a smile that can make men drool, but I'm not because I'm still annoyed. "I am your girlfriend" she said sweetly, my eyes widened in shock, I know I'm drunk last night but I don't remember having a girlfriend. I was about to say something when she stood up and face me leaning so much closer that were inches apart. "You wished for me, last night on the internet" oh crap! Now I remember! I was browsing the net when a certain ad captures my attention. "But I wished for a BOYFRIEND! Not a Girlfriend!!?" How do you handle a situation where there's NO REFUND and NO EXCHANGE? Two teenagers attend a Christian Camp in order to grow in their faith with the Lord... All that Ginny wants is to overcome her insecurities and grow closer to Jesus - and what better way to do it than attend a church camp purely based on developing the relationships between the Lord God and His children? All that Gavin wants is to break away from the filming industry for a while and just focus on God. But with his agent constantly phoning him and the threat of darkness threatening to overcome camp, will he become closer to Jesus? And what will happen when these two young Christians meet? Finding Christmas
(Completed) Earlier this year, a pandemic crippled the world... December 1 The earthquake hit. December 3 The waters came and the flood overpowered us. My younger brother and sister cry for our parents on the other side of the world. The only consolation I have is "Christmas is coming." My younger sister asked me how we could celebrate Christmas with nothing. I had no answer except, "We'll find a way." *** 2020 brought many unexpected things. The unexpected bad and the unexpected good. With the year coming to a close, I want to dedicate this story to the front-liners, to those living away from family, to the Filipinos affected by the recent typhoons and flood, and to my grandparents who have survived through so much and thrived through it all. Christmas time is the time to be reminded of HOPE, the hope that comes in Jesus' promised birth and life to live, PEACE, the peace that comes from the Prince of Peace alone, JOY, the joy that comes from a fresh start, a new beginning and the birth of a baby (Luke 2:5-7) and LOVE, the love that sent a King down on earth to be a baby so that He could experience life before He'd give His life for us so that we could live with Him (John 3:16) (Not edited. Unfailing Love (Heart Series #3)
Dani has loved Josh since high school. It started out as a crush, but a senior trip changed their lives forever. Suddenly, they were making a movie and swept into the glamorous but dark life of the rich and famous. They fell into a world where sin and self-rule and nothing is as it seems. In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so. Every day was a battle, getting worse and worse; that one day she just snapped. ***STRONG PLOT AND LANGUAGE*** ***UPDATE*** To my great surprise, this story has been getting more reads than I ever thought possible. I reread what I wrote once again and tried not to cringe at the many errors and awful sentence structure I had. So in the spirit of Christmas I will try to edit and perfect this story. There wouldn't be changes in the plot, just hopefully a better way of sharing my thoughts. If it's still crap, then I apologize I'm only human :) ****Complete
