I was scared. I was tired. I was dirty. I was little then, and I didn't know what happened. All I knew was that is was dark. So dark. Then the door opened and the light came in, and I wasn't scared anymore.
Disclaimer: For the record, I didn't invent Ranger's Apprentice (even though I wish I did), John Flanagan did. I don't own any characters except for Amara, Ember, Hailey, and Jackson. (Okay, now we're done with this "don't-sue-me" crap.)

Ranger's Apprentice I: Arising Danger
NOTE: This is an outdated fiction-please refrain from commenting negatively on something I've written years ago. That'd be appreciated! "His mother was a knight and died, his father was a Ranger and was killed. Please take care of him. His name is Silver." This letter was given by Silver's parents. Silver is raised in Redmont's orphanage. Silver is a 15-year-old boy and is bullied because he is the only one with dead parents. And just because his mother was a knight and his father was a Ranger, he is bullied with anything his wardmates can hurt him. On his Choosing Day, Silver is not chosen because of how mean he is towards his wardmates. Because of the mean gossips, he has started bullying others to make sure he won't be bullied. But that costs his future. Will Silver find a craftmaster on the only Choosing Day that he will ever be able to attend in his life? Stay Alive, Becausce I'll Find You Wherever They Take You
Will and Evalyn are kidnapped to Skandia, where they are separated and sold as slaves. However, this story is a bit different. Erak is already an Oberjarl and has recently established new laws to improve the lives of slaves. Despite this, the village Will ends up in doesn't seem to follow those laws. Will he survive until help arrives? Will help arrive at all? In the kingdom of Araluen, things are also not quite the same as we know them. Based on the 3rd and 4th books by John Flanagan, this is a completely reimagined story. Because why not? I don't own any rights to John Flanagan's novels, nor do I make any profit from them. I simply give free rein to my imagination and write whatever comes to mind, inspired by his works. You'll meet familiar characters from the books here, as well as some I've invented. The same goes for places. As mentioned, the action is set during the events of books 3 and 4 - but with a completely different twist. Enjoy reading. I hope you'll like it :-)Complete
Shadow of a Shade
Addiane found her life to be comfortable enough. She may not have known her family, but she was fed and taken care of by those she lived with. She rarely feared for her life, and she was being taught valuable life lessons by those around her. Of course, training to be a Dragon Rider under the Shadeslayer himself, the first proper Rider in a long time, was a major bonus. Addiane wouldn't have thought she'd ever want to leave their little haven. Her curiosity simply got the better of her when Eragon's cousin made a plea for assistance, describing terrifying marauders and bowmen whose aim had been blessed by gods. And of course there was the man who rode the red dragon. Addiane had to know more about him, and about what was going on in the mountains that Eragon Shadeslayer had once called home. She really didn't know what she was getting into. *I DON'T OWN THE RANGERS APPRENTICE SERIES/ACCOMPANYING BOOKS OR THE INHERITANCE CYCLE, I JUST REALLY LOOK UP TO JOHN FLANAGAN AND CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI*Complete
