In Sakurakuni, one of the Shi Choin Kuni, each child is bred with a Kaenshirushi, a mark which would bind them to their country until they pass their Tameshi on ther eighteenth birthday. During the Tameshi, they would meet three Shinko Boshi 'Eyes', which would give them powers and influence them greatly. When they find their Shinko Boshi, the Kaenshirushi is released, leaving but a scar in the shape of a faint cherry blossom.

 

Lilium is just going through her Tameshi, when she gets accompanied by her Shinko Boshi, Cyanide. When her Kaenshirushi is released, Lilium is shocked to receive a letter from her dead father, which reveals a discovery that would change her world. But will Lilium choose to pursue the path her father had lain out for her, or will she choose her own will?
