A girl, who had been in a long-term relationship, finds out that her partner has been cheating on her. Heartbroken and hurt, she eventually moves on and meets someone new, starting to develop feelings for this new person. As their relationship grows, her ex suddenly reappears, begging for forgiveness and asking for another chance, making her torn between the past and her blossoming future. Now, she faces a tough decision: to forgive her ex and return to something familiar, or to let go and fully embrace the new love she's starting to feel.

She pretends she's fine, that nothing's wrong, that her smile is every bit as real as her cuts. She has people who need her, people who rely on her but she's slowly slipping away from them and they have no idea what's happening to her. She doesn't know what changed but it was sudden, like someone flicking a light switch, engulfing her and everyone around her in darkness. Isa's scars Betty's sight Ali's broken Sean's love Elle's disappearing I didn't write this to make the stuff in it seem glamorous, I wrote it to show that it does happen and if nothing is done it won't get any better. COMPLETED It's a novella (short novel) i am writing another book with the same characters called isa's star set after this one but u can read it before or after ❤️
