Sheila Gallie, like any other teenage girl, has problems. Whether it's dealing with bitches at school or trying to understand boys like Derrick Carder, there's always something problematic on her mind.
Rafael Monet, on the other hand, is a gypsy. And that on it's own is a problem. Although Sheila is aware of his background and the bad reputation attached to it, she can't help feel allured by his charming words and intelligence.
However, in the real world, there are bigger dilemmas to deal with and after a series of rape incidents occurring, Rafael faces the discriminating accusations against him. But Sheila may have to leave everything behind, including the ones she loves in order to fight against the town's prejudice and save his life.
