Rain was a girl newsie. The only girl newsie. And she was Jack's little sista. But, only the Manhattan Newsies knew that she was a girl. She went undercover as a boy by the name of Ray. It wasn't hard for her to act like a boy, though. She was very tough and never took no as an answer. She could fight like no get out. She had no mercy for anyone and never thought of a boy as attractive, until she met Spot.
