Prologue It was pouring. It wasn’t unusual for Seattle weather, and it didn’t bother me. I stood outside of the arena against the brick wall of the place that I knew too well. I contemplated, leaving but I knew that it was no longer an option. I can feel my heart racing as I do before every fight, the adrenaline coursing through my blood, and the anticipation in the air.
