A Single Bead of Hope (On Hold)

Starla Firelight is a Senior at her local College, majoring in Neurology in Washington D.C. and is the poster boy at school. She's part of many of the clubs at school and is the one you go to for help on your algebra test and the girl who doesn't want to miss school. But one day, all of that changes. Even though she has an A average, she's getting in trouble for things she didn't do... Like the murder of her least liked teacher that occurred right after she left the classroom. Brought into interrogation she is accused of another four murders in the area. Then she meets Dr. Spencer Keys, who is the only person in his BAU team who believes she is innocent. While she is sitting in the interrogation room, a guard gives her an envelope with a single bead on a string in it and a note saying "every time you get a bead, it's a sign you'll be getting out of here." Entranced by this message, it's up to Dr. Keys, his team, and Starla to prove that she is innocent before it's too late and she's in too deep.
