Sadie was just an ordinary girl going through a difficult time after her mother’s death. She found a hope in love songs and slow rock music and followed her dreams to a small café on the outskirts of town. As she is coping she meets Alex, whose problems are in a whole other ballpark. He has an abusive father that constantly blames him for his mother’s leaving when Alex was two. Alex found refuge in music when everything else was kicking him down, he turned to rock and heavy metal to drown out his surroundings.
