Daughter Of The Gods: Book Two

The chains were jerked and pulled in hopes of break from its hold on the wall while growl after growl echoed around the room joined in with that from the others caged watching with helpless eyes as the man stalked closer to the main attraction. Eyes blazing red, whip with ends that scream for a bite of flesh, begging their master. "Now, this time you die for real and Earth will be my hell to rule," his voice dripped venom with a hiss as his arm raised ready to strike as he was met with cold black eyes.

"You have it wrong, it is not me that dies, it's you!" With that cold black eyes turned to pits of red as flames licked the floors as the man stood shocked, but not or long as the whip came down, hitting its mark leaving a deep wound that caused a howl of agony as lash after lash was met with flesh and before long the floor was covered with the crimson liquid.

Locked away for years in the depths of her heart that slowly was shattering and the cage bit by bit was deteriorating. Years of pain adding up and what was a myth, a legend to their people soon became their worst nightmare that rose from the one heart everyone wanted to break, but they never would have thought such an evil would live deep within.

She was human, she was weak, she was pathetic, she was worthless, she was the line between life and death, she was the good and the bad, she was the demon and the god, she was the human and the wolf, she was both, but it was just a matter of time before one side overpowered the other. So many wanted her gone, wanted to break her, shatter her to pieces, but when the truth rose from the hell the tides will turn where it's up to her whether they should be broken, shattered like she was or should be full and lively. This her fate, this is her demise, this is the Daughter of the Gods.
