Berry and Amethyst have joined Laurence, Katelyn, and Aaron's journey to stop the Shadow Lord. With Aphmau sick and weak back at Aaron's camp on Phoenix Drop, how will they manage to stop the Shadow Lord's plan to overthrow everything, and worse yet, discover loyalty and betrayal among the group? Amethyst is the daughter of the Shadow Lord, but has run away from forced marriage. Berry was cursed by the Shadow Lord, and Amethyst had made Berry her best friend and assistant, and she can turn into any animal she wants. Lupa was once an ender wolf, but after a young Aaron claimed her and trained her before he left to go to war, she has joined with the Heaven Clan of white coated werewolves who protect Irene. Yui is Lupa's cub, who lost her father in battle before she was born, will her father leave a scar on the battle field, and Yui become stronger? Laurence is Aphmau's guard, but with her recovering at Phoenix Drop, he discovers his affection towards Amethyst, and protects her with all his might.
