Romance
Catherine Gray was always known as the honour student, the sweetheart, the athlete. She was the typical girl next door, american girl. She then met Michael who turned her world around. Michael was a gang leader, she had to change herself and be part of the gang to be with him and she did it willingly because she thought she loved him. She is left to deal with the consequences months later after the break-up while she's trying to get her life back on track. Michael is brutally murdered due to his gang dealings, now Catherine is left with the guilt of knowing about Michael's death and killer. Her gang days are starting to catch up on her and everything is starting to overwhelm her a bit too much. Then she meets Nicholas... Or Nick for short. Nick is everything Catherine wants and is the exact opposite from her usual bad boy taste. She starts falling for him but she can't help but think he is hiding something from her. She too has a secret and she can't afford letting Nick find out about her past and her problems as she is worried that betrayal is not the only pain he'll experience. The world she once saw as a bright place with endless possibilities has turned into a graveyard of the dreams she once had. Will she ever be able to move on? Or will she be stuck in an endless chase that leads her in circles? #Chicklit574 - 04/07/2014 #Chicklit511 - 10/08/2014 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dear Reader. Firstly, my current - and amazing - book cover was made by @Ferretlp Thank You for reading this book. I am aware that there may be quite a lot of grammatical errors and so forth. Please do understand that this is an on-going series and I want to finish writing the book before I do major edits. I won't mind the least if you point out some faults and will gladly thank you for doing so. Thanks Again S.M. Mardling.

"A guy isn't going to care if you're laughing with a dude," he said. "You laugh with friends. You do this with someone who is more than friends." Wolf placed his hands on my waist, pulling me in flush with his body. He dipped his head to my ear and whispered, "See? No one that looked at us right now would think we're friends." ------------------------------- When Savannah's long term boyfriend, Tripp, breaks up with her out of the blue before their annual summer lake vacation, she's devastated. Enter Wolf. He's the son of her parents' best friends, who happen to share a connecting lake condo. Savannah hasn't seen Wolf in two years since he stopped coming on family vacations. He's notorious for trouble, the exact opposite of Savannah. Wolf shows up one day and suggests that they pretend to be in a relationship during their two week vacation. He's convinced that his mom's adoration of "good girl" Savannah will change her mind about his recent house arrest. In exchange, Wolf suggests Savannah can use their fake relationship to lure Tripp back by making him jealous. Savannah is hesitant, but is just desperate enough for Tripp's attention that she agrees. Spending time with Wolf on their pretend dates becomes a problem when Savannah begins to have feelings for him. After all, Wolf is off limits. Her best friend has a major crush on him, and Savannah is supposed to be with someone sensible like Tripp, not the lead singer of the high school rock band, Wolf and the Midnight Shepherds. In the end, Savannah will need to decide if falling for Wolf is worth the consequences.
