The Robotic Enemy Xterminator is a type of robotic doodle created to help destroy cogs. The project started in '98 and only lasted a year. It's been forgotten by most, but that doesn't stop the REXs who survived. REX #1 tells his story from the beginning of the project to the present day.

This infomation soon comes to haunt the batch as the past catches up to a certain marksman who has no choice but to 'disappear' from the universe in order to keep everyone safe but it costs him deeply. The memory of the past is fuzzy to some until a young blood female child takes the shot that ends the war against the ruthless Empire, but not only does happiness come, the past returns and not everyone is happy to discover what has happened.
