Alice Tanner, the anonymous writer of a famous blog, travels to an apartment in Australia which her recently deceased dad bought several years before. Searching for inspiration and hoping to start over, she plans to stay there for a while, knowing that one of the rooms is rented to someone else.
She doesn't mind getting away from her old life. She just wants to escape, to write, and to live.
Most importantly, she wants things back to the way it was.
But she tells herself to accept the truth and to survive. In a place far away from home, she finds more than what she bargained for.
