"Just close Just close your eyes and have a good sleep, my dear. Everything is going to be okay once you open your eyes again." Then she turned the hourglass upside down. The black sand inside starts falling from above. Soon, Cleo feels a headache enough to make her eyes close tightly. The last thing she can remember is the gentle kiss that her grandmother placed on her forehead. When Cleo opens her eyes again, she is back to her eighteen-year-old self. -//-//- Cleo Andrews, the woman proclaimed by society as a vicious and evil girl, sacrificed a lot and offered everything she had just for the sake of getting Chandler Zedd, the man of her dreams. That was until she found out that he was not worthy of her love and sacrifices. Cleo lost her family, and her wealth, and ruined the life of Johan Martin, the man who is in love with her since their childhood days. When Cleo received the antic hourglass from her grandma on her wedding day, she was surprised to see herself going back to her eighteen-year-old self. Cleo is now given a chance to fix all the things she destroyed and prevent herself from breaking the things she realized late as important. Choosing the man who deserves her love, Cleo Andrews is determined to show the world how an evil girl loves her loyal and genuine man.

I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory. She steps closer, her voice trembling, but the edge of anger sharpening her words. "Or when? Or where? Or for what reason? Or what it even means?!" I flinch at her tone, but I can't answer her. I try. God, I try.. I look down at the sand beneath my feet, forcing myself to dig through every memory, every hazy night out, every stupid decision I might've made-but nothing. Not a single moment of how I got it surfaced. I let out a frustrated breath and rake a hand through my hair, feeling the panic rise like bile in my throat. When I finally lift my head to speak, Ashley's already staring at me, and I can tell-she knows my answer before I say a word. "You don't remember," she says softly, nodding like she expected it all along. __________________________________________ Crazy thing happened...Three years ago, a tragic accident left Ashley scarred and shattered.
