The Ink Writer

In the midst of World at War, a young pilot is shot from the air down into the Ocean by a mysterious flash. No one knows if he survived. Two days later, a cruise ship by the name of Sapphire of the Sea, sinks unexpectedly, causing the Americans to doubt the alliance with their fellow nations. In doubt, they send an expedition led by an Archaeologist by the name of Ever to search for any survivors or possible causes. When they arrive, they encounter a small nation of native tribes with writing all over their bodies. The crew never returns.

Fifty four years since the Americans invaded Everest, Claire's mother dies unexpectedly from a strange disease no doctor has knowledge of. With her mother dead, she tries to find all her journals and reads about Everest and a mysterious tribe that her mother encountered. Claire finds herself doubting the government's real intent in destroying the native people of the small country. However, with a globalized planet, any opposition to American world authority means death. The more she uncovers, the more she doubts the true nature of a free world. And she realizes that strange letters and symbols begin to appear all over her body. Question is, who is writing them?
