Since the break up of her parents Scout Sullivan and her mother are moving from town to town in the search of their very own paradise.
Her mother seems to be content with all the change but the older she gets the more Scout wishes for some stability in her life.

When the two move to Crystal Lake Illinois Scout meets a bunch of new people. People she would love to make friends with but there is one small problem.

Scout made up one single rule : Don't make friends, you're gonna leave this town anyway.

As much as she wants to stick to it as soon as she looks into the ice blue orbs of the school's mysterious ' Bad Boy ' she finds herself disregarding the rule.

Alex Rowden wears a leather jacket, drives a black 1963 Mercury Comet and plays guitar in a garage rockband. He seems like the cliché bad boy when on the iside he's really the complete opposite.

Scout falls head first into an adventure including a drunk night in Las Vegas, some uninvited visitors and a Bang!

Will Scout be able to stick to her rule ?
Will she finally stand up to her mother ?
Will she find her place ?

[ Okay so this is my first story EVER and I really hope this turns out the way I want it to. It's not some typical bad boy story, trust me. ANYWAY I suck at describtions and may change this soon. For now- This is what you get :) ]
