A short fan-fiction story based on Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, as well as my main role play demigod OC and Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Match Seller".
I wrote this almost a year ago for a writing contest in a role play community.
The setting is during a time when Khione, Greek goddess of snow, in a vengeful rage, has completely frozen over New York City, leaving it deserted and almost totally devoid of life.
The questionable ending and any other mysteriousness is due to the fact that this was written for the original readers, my role play companions, who were familiar with the character and her life story and recent circumstances. Also, this is one of the first complete stories I've ever written, so my writing style has changed a bit since then.
But it's still pretty feelsy.
Enjoy and let me know what you think! :)
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
