"Arthur Kirkland is a lonely boy who's destined for the throne, however, nobody knows that, so he lives the life of any common boy in the Kingdom of Spades.
Alfred f. Jones is a mischievous servant who works long shifts at the castle, without many breaks (normally stealing small objects while no one is watching).
What happens when the royal family finds out about the two's freindship and sends Arthur away? Will the two be able to get together again, or will they just have to play along with the other pieces?

Secondly, this is based off of Katy Perry's Dark Horse, thus the name, and as such this will have some dark moments, you have been warned! Last but not least, human names will be used in this. Despite this, Alfred's life becomes more and more complex the longer he's at the castle. Why is Alfred's life now not so simple? Well let's just say that the Kingless Queen has some very interesting plans...... --- This is a Songfic based off of Katy Perry's Dark Horse and features a few other songs as well, I own nothing but the story and an OC---** This story is on both my quotev and deviantart under Katie Rosprim**Complete
