This book is a compilation of such instances in form of short stories.

Then suddenly everything went dead silent. The lady vanished. The whispers and the wind stopped. We stood inside my bedroom feet away from my sleeping husband he pulls me closer to his body moving backwards to the hallway. I could only follow hoping that my life would be spared. Suddenly, we stopped by the edge of the staircase. "You're mine." He whispers in a hoarse tone placing a kiss on my cheek hitting me on the head with the back of the knife. I was seeing double. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? "So I don't make you feel any type of way?" He asked, curiously. "Nope." I said. Without warning, he put his hand down my skirt and to my pearl. He rubbed it, causing me to moan out loud. I was walking to my job at the grocery store with my sister, Kiana, since she wanted snacks. I told her to call our parents to pick her up and go home straight after. However... We didn't even reach the grocery store. Since, we saw a body and blood in the middle of an alley. Trying to call an ambulance and the police to see what was going on, yet we got no signal. After that there was a rag over my nose and mouth and I tried pushing my sister out of the way making sure she wouldn't get kidnapped too, I tried screaming "HELP!" Kiana did as well. ***NOT EDITED*** I was walking down the stairs hurriedly, suddenly my legs slip and I fell through the stairs. My head bumped to the metal staircase and my stomach started hurting. Soon I was lying on the floor in pain . There was blood around me . Suddenly someone came rushing towards me. He held me up in his arms and rushed outside. I wanted to say something but no words came out of my mouth. With all my strength I opened my mouth and I was just able to say 4 words ''This is your child''. There were shocked expressions on that man's face . I tried to touch his face but suddenly he vanished. I felt my head aching and my eyes flickering. I slowly opened my eyes . Oh God! My head is aching as hell and I felt my whole body paining. When I fully opened my eyes I found myself in a hospital room. Thank God!!! It was a dream. I sighed. But why did I had such a dream. I tried to remember what had happened with me and to my surprise I remembered NOTHING. From 'nothing' I mean not a single thing , not even my name , where do I live ???? NOTHING . I can't remember who I am . Oh God!!! What the hell is happening!!! Why did I had such a horrible dream . I jumbled in all these questions when suddenly my eyes landed on a man standing at some distance, which shocked me as hell . It was the same man I've seen in my dream . WHO WAS HE ????
