With the recent death of her mother, Cleopatra Hamen left Egypt. A new life laid sprawled for her in The USA. Two loyal, loving true friends. A beautiful doting aunt who gave her everything... Including a rare birthday present. A necklace belonging to Cleopatra's ancient namesake. The famous Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. However, the first few terrifying nightmares were real, and Cleopatra knew so. Digging up the past could help, but will she have enough time in just days to save herself, whilst keeping her new powerful uncontrollable powers in control? The heart of the problem lies buried in Egypt. Only then will she know if the necklace is a pure gift or a curse... A curse that kills, and will someone lose her in the end?

[currently unedited] Thea Amaris' world is about to change forever. When the curator of the National Art and Science museum receives a shipment straight from Egypt containing the broken shards of three vases and one canopic jar, she assumes it's just going to be another work day. Little does she know that her reality is about to unravel, leading her on an unknown path filled with danger, death, and perhaps most importantly, love. Will anyone believe her when she starts to have dreams of a time long ago, dreams that seem to be more than just dreams? Thea fears for her sanity; she doesn't know she should also fear for her life. **Please note this is currently unedited** ~ My entry in The Golden Writers Writing Contest. Held by @TriciaDehler.
