My name is Nina Ito. I have lived for 16 years. At this point, my life has been neither good or bad. Just average. Walking with the crowd, blending in. Life, in my opinion, was slow, repetitive and mundane. However, it was until I went through April 7th, my world was forever changed. That day, I met two people. Kayle and Lane. Two extraordinary people that would throw my quiet lifestyle into chaos. According to them, my future is blank, they don’t know what to expect of me and that’s what troubles them. Kayle seems to retain some grudge against me. While Lane is holding me at arms length but is pleasant with me when around others. What did I do? I don't believe in any of this. Kayle is mean, Lane is enigmatic and they want me to come with them. What should I do?

Scholar

[COMPLETED] [Warning: Strong language used throughout the book.] He put his hand over my notebook and the other over mine. I glared up at him, his golden brown eyes catching my attention. "I can't write like this," I pointed out. "Is this all you care about?" Ryan asked. I shrugged. "Not this specifically, but yeah, I care about my grades." Ryan smirked. I swallowed nervously but refused to break my stoic expression. He leaned closer to me, my heart pounding so hard against my chest it felt like it might break out and fall on the table between us. His mouth was right by my ear, and I could feel his warm breath when he spoke which sent shivers down my spine. "Well, aren't you a little a scholar?" *** The only things Alex Moris ever cared about were his grades and his sister. However, when the boy his sister likes, Ryan Smithe, makes things complicated and causes him to feel things he's never felt before, Alex realizes that, maybe, there's more important things in life than grades and scholarships.
