It is the era of Queen Victoria, the year 1845. Emmeline Blair a young woman working as a nursemaid for a wealthy household, taking care of their future daughters, however that all crumbles when the house is attacked and Emmeline finds herself stumbling upon two young men who are apart of the supernatural society: The Nocturnals.
The young women is thrust into a world full of fascinating creatures, but a threat lurks in the shadows one that could alter her future forever...one that could destroy the nocturnals.
