Naru is alone well almost her best friend Sasuke helps her to become a ninja along with the third hokage, despite naru's condition of being blind... This secret is only known by the hokage and Sasuke and they also know how she developed the disability it was a 'gift' from the villagers as they called it, but even they didn't know they had succeeded.
