Bridgit Juergens didn't know what to expect when she came over to her uncle's house for the summer after about 12 years of not being there. She has lived there for 5 years, in sunny California, until she had to move to New York for her mother's job. Upon her return to Cali for a vacation, she received the shock of her life. Her childhood nemesis Lucas is living with his uncle! Lucas, the hair-pulling, teddybear-ruining, dress-wrecking, name-calling boy who always picked on her, was going to stay at her uncle's house this summer, with her! She tries to ignore him, but finds it difficult. Is it because he keeps on trying to talk to her? Is it because he turned out to be a charming, hot jerk that's just too hard to ignore? Or is it both... and more?
