  Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, everything came tumbling down on her. When Lainna's friends drag her into playing an Ouija board with them, she wished it never happened. She started getting haunted by unknown and invisible forces, tearing her away from her friends. She tries telling them what's happening, but nothing good comes out of it except one thing. Jamison confesses his love toward Lainna and she is left with no choice but to leave.
  Once she returns she thinks she's safe, but the gears start to shift. When she and Jamison go to a concert, Lainna encounters her real father, Kyle and immediately starts to stalk her.  Will there ever be such a place she can call safe?

That is until he meets Alyssan. Neither expected to meet the other and neither expected the horrendous outcome that arises from it. Alyssan never ran away and she didn't die of any natural causes either. She was murdered and the fact that her killer is still on the loose scares both of them. The fact that the killings started again is even worse. With the killer targeting more girls, she and Sawyer might be the only hope of stopping the deaths.
