In a land where dragons and goblins aren't a surprise to us who run into them... Karucaw Island is the third largest island in the world, and it is surrounded by water if you reach the very end. At the very end though, awaits a terrible fate. No one has ever tried to reach it since the last brave young man who's body parts were found torn and mangled, blood splashed everywhere in the center of the town there. The town is the only one on this island, and in it lives many villagers. But outside the villager world, gods and goddesses roam, protecting their home from danger. But when a strange pair of children about 10 years old appear out of nowhere, things start going down... Why are these things happening, and what started them??

Many centuries ago, an unspoken darkness swept across the land taking all that was light and pure in the world with it. Creatures of this darkness roamed free to spread the darkness wherever they went consuming any trace of light remaining. In order to stop The Darkness from controlling the world, a group of priests took the remaining pieces of light and placed them within the body of two chosen children. They became known as the Children of the Light. Their sacrifice was not in vain, leaving behind spoken words for the next generation of children born with the pure light energy within them. Over time an organisation built on these words was formed called The Guardians, who were tasked to seek out the next chosen children and protect them from The Darkness should it rise again. Centuries have come and gone as the battle between the light and the darkness still rages on, unaware of the human race that creatures live among them and that a battle between them and the guardians has gone on for many years. Present day we find ourselves in a small city named New Haeven that has become the centre of the secret world of light and dark.The current story follows a Guardian by the name of Ronin. Ronin saw the faces of the new Children of the Light and was tasked by the Elders to track them down and protect them at all costs.The children were both college students and were one male and one female whose names were James Hillman and Sara Danvers..When Ronin went to see he ran into a ghost from his past, Lillian. The story continues on with Ronin seeking answers from the Elders about how a Guardian could come back from the dead.

But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

The man pulled her swiftly to her side so that she could expel the rest of the water out through her mouth. "Oh, honey!" the woman gathered the girl up in her arms and squeezed. The girl looked around disorientated. There were strange men and men from her own pack standing around her. "What happened?" She murmured. The woman looked down at her daughter with tears flowing down her face. She was called a breeder wolf." I cut her off with my question, "What's that?!" She looked nervous, "It's what a special female werewolf was before mates existed. They helped populate the first generations of werewolves. When they were old enough they went into heat, but it's much worse than an average she-wolfs. It lasts around a month and men would come to help her get better. Then as a 'thank you' she granted them a pup from her magic belly." I giggled at her silly term as another question flooded my mind, "How'd they help her?" I tilted my head to the side expectantly, "You're far too young now pup, next time when you're older." Expect twists and turns as you venture into the land of Volinrath. The heroes must stand up for one another no matter what--there are enemies in hot pursuit every step of the way. **I published this in story in 2015 but ended up taking it off the market due to a single review-the ONLY review on it in fact, which compared it a poorly written screenplay. My initial plan was to take it down and rewrite it then put it back up but due to growing self-doubt brought on from that comment I decided to abandon the tale and rework it into the another series I'm working on!
