When you have a chronic illness it's important to be proactive. The American Medical System is based on sick care, and provides very little in the way of advice for real healing. Modern medications may cover up, or even alleviate symptoms, but do they actually heal the body? What happens when you stop taking the medication? Do your symptoms return? If so then the medications you're taking are simply covering your symptoms, they are not causing real healing to occur.

In this book, you will find solid advice on changing your diet, using supplements, understanding herbs, and finding an "alternative practitioner" to help you give your body the chance to heal. You'll learn where to find the resources to take charge of your own health and make the best health care decisions for your care.

The author of this book lives chronic illness from both sides of the fence. She started this journey as a patient diagnosed with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis with a doctor recommendation of "find a nursing home." When that recommendation was made Yvette was experiencing serious and disabling symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis---oftentimes she was unable to talk, walk, or complete daily living skills without assistance. Yvette set out to learn everything she could about the illness that was slowly taking her life. She learned that with diet changes, herbs, supplements, Reiki, exercise and many other natural methods, she could support her body so that it would heal. Today, Yvette has no daily symptoms of MS.

As her health improved, Yvette returned to school and earned her Bachelor's degree in Natural Healing, Doctor of Naturopathy Degree, and became a Reiki Master/Teacher, and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. She continues her path to healing and her education by studying various established diets, EFT, and other natural healing modalities that could benefit her clients, or herself.

⚠️ Warning Below This is the story of a little girl who learned to grow in the silence-like a wildflower blooming through cracks in concrete. She lived in a house of shadows, where the walls whispered violence, and silence became her shield. Her days were shaped by what was unspoken-by hands that harmed, by trust that fractured, by love that came laced with pain. But even in that stillness, something stirred. Instead of drowning in the quiet, she began to listen-to the words of others who had walked through similar storms. Their stories were not just stories. They were maps, mirrors, and lifelines. Through their truths, she began to uncover her own. Now, she turns inward and outward, breaking her own silence-not with a scream, but with a steady voice that has waited a lifetime to be heard. This book is not just about trauma. It is about the bones of a broken girl who built a life from what was left behind. It's about grief, and the ghosts of family. About the way innocence can be stolen, yet spirit still survives. It's about the quiet power of letting go. But above all-it's about freedom. The kind you find not by fighting, but by finally releasing what was never yours to carry. And if even one soul finds a piece of themselves in these pages, then her voice, at last, has done what silence could not. ⚠️WARNING Author's Note & Content Warning: This is a deeply personal and emotional story that touches on domestic violence and childhood sexual abuse. While written to bring awareness, healing, and understanding, I recognise these topics may be distressing for some readers.

Holly Woods. A sweet personality, shy and loving. She's mistreated at home, bullied at school and drowns in self-hatred due to her curvy plus-size body. The only thing keeping her going is her best friend Juli. While struggling with all of this her onesided love for Juli's handsome twin brother adds to her pile of misery. Her heart broken by so many burdens, Holly's mind turns darker and darker each day. But what if Juli's brother slowly finds out about all of her problems? What if he starts fighting for her? Will they end up happily or is this the turn to even worse events? ⚠️Warning⚠️ This story is very cliche and contains graphic depictions of violence, strong language, depression and other mature themes. It's probably pretty bad as well since my first language is German, not English and my writing style and view on story lines and lead characters kinda developed some more since I wrote this. "Fuck." He whispers into my neck, sending a thrill of excitement through my body. His lips still smothered kisses over my neck and his hands roamed my body, starting at my chest, going down to my stomach. Caressing my soft skin, his thumb trailed circles on my groin before slightly slipping into the waistband of my jeans. My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape. "You drive me fucking crazy, Aria." ---------------------------- Aria Bailey finds it hard to fit in. Her parents are always busy and never have time for her.
