~*PROLOGUE*~
"Get a job Eren, you need one." Grisha exclaims harshly, carelessly yelling at his son. He didn't care much for him, he just wanted his house back to himself.
After Eren's mothers death, he'd been aggressive, and he just wanted his money to himself, and didn't want to have to spare it to a brat.
"I can't keep covering for you, Eren." "Go."
Eren looked his father directly in the eyes and then let a soft sigh escape his mouth as he turned for the door, leaving to head to school.
He needed help finding a job, and finding a job soon was definitely in the equation.
If he didn't get a job soon, he'd be kicked out on the streets harshly, with nothing and he'd look like a bum.
Well. Looks like this is another good day.
Eren's shoes clicked against the sidewalk as he approached his school, his father's argument with him before school ringing in his head, and stinging his brain.
It affected him deeply, how was he even supposed to find a job THAT easily?
It was physically impossible.
Well, for Eren anyways.
He'd just ask his friends and allies if they know anyone hiring or any job opportunities opening up.
It'll work, and Eren'll get a job to jump on his own two feet.
Just you watch.

I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Concluida

But when it came to grades, he was getting A's and B's. When it came to Mikasa, she was very responsible. She had a job, she was a straight A student, and she cleaned most of the time when she had free time. One day in the beginning of the second semester, someone moved in a couple houses down from them. His name was Levi Ackerman, a 16 year old sophmore who was going to start at Maria Rose High School. There was a connection between Levi and Eren; they just couldn't keep away from each other, and Eren, knowing Mikasa wouldn't allow it, kept it a secret.
