Marie Mackel once thought her life would be perfect. When she was in 6th grade her life seemed to be perfect, with her multiple friends and what seemed like a happy life. Behind the closed doors of her house was a different story. Her mother believed that there was nothing more to life then working at a fast-food restraunt, her father struggled with depression and social anxiety which Marie had inherited, and Marie's younger brother, whom she spent most of her time looing out for even though he seemed oblivious, was obsessed with being his friends, rich and gamers. Marie watched out for her brother, for he was the only one who understood what she was going through, or at least half of it.
