Two people living in a world filled with the undead, only problem is they are on opposites of the country, not knowing if there are any other survivors. In the fight to find other servivors and stay alive will the two find their way and join a group and stay alive or die on the journey.

The school started off as any other school year for Autumn Winters. But at the worst possible moment an outbreak occured and the whole school turned into chaos. Teachers have gave out an odd stupid plan to set kids up with younger students. Every man for himself, doesn't quite suit the teachers ideas, even if most will die within the first week. But, being forced to, teachers put together groups of 6, 1 teacher, with a group of kids, and taking 3 JK/SK students with them, from the elementary side of one of the 3 schools that occupy the large vast of land. When Alex is placed in her group, she knew it was going to be hell. But she doesn't let that overrule her. She knows she must do everything in her will to keep the little ones alive. When the moment finally comes, teachers and students all split, leaving the schools a ghost town, and everyone for themselves or the dead. But will their chance increase? Or will their survival be a waste? Who will live? And who will die? Was it all just a waste of time?

No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?
