So, we flashback to the time when everyone was happy, right? The couple were extremely cute. But a simple boy can change the fate of one of the happiest pairs of all. His girlfriend, Annabeth, kissed another boy, just to see if she felt anything at all. Unfortunately for her, he saw.
Then to make matters worse, he gets news of his mother and stepfather's murder. Whoever it was created a fake version of his sword, and left it there. The gods believed it was him who killed them. His father, Poseidon, disowned him for murder, and he was sentenced to death because he was 'too powerful'.
He left camp, and somehow ran into the powerful creator of the universe, along with his two, also extremely powerful, friends, Thalia Grace and Nico Di Angelo. They accepted the offer to join Chaos's army, and Percy became the Apprentice of Chaos.

The war with Gaea and the Giants was over, and Percy was excited to have the chance to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend. Then everything comes crashing down. A new kid comes stumbling into Camp-Half-Blood, and the moment he lays eyes on the legendary son of Poseidon, he hated him. It didn't help that the new kid was claimed by Poseidon, making him Percy's half-brother. Rumours and lies started to circle Camp-Half-Blood. And I'm losing myself to a part of me that I never knew existed. The morning dew on the leaves around me froze to crystallized droplets as I walked by. Just as I was admiring the beauty of it all, a shout came from behind me and I turned. A hunter was pointing my way and more people came. Twenty more hunters, and roughly forty demigods. I turned away from them and ran while taking out my sword. Riptide. It wasn't what it used to be. Before it had a blue green colored trident etched into a glowing bronze metal and a golden hilt. Now? The bronze glowed silver because of a thin layer of deadly ice. The trident became an icy blue, just as my eyes had changed and the hilt was now black and silver. Why? I'm changing. The world destroyed me. So I'm changing. To someone I'm not. I can't stop it. I can keep running before I freeze over entirely.
