So, we flashback to the time when everyone was happy, right? The couple were extremely cute. But a simple boy can change the fate of one of the happiest pairs of all. His girlfriend, Annabeth, kissed another boy, just to see if she felt anything at all. Unfortunately for her, he saw.
Then to make matters worse, he gets news of his mother and stepfather's murder. Whoever it was created a fake version of his sword, and left it there. The gods believed it was him who killed them. His father, Poseidon, disowned him for murder, and he was sentenced to death because he was 'too powerful'.
He left camp, and somehow ran into the powerful creator of the universe, along with his two, also extremely powerful, friends, Thalia Grace and Nico Di Angelo. They accepted the offer to join Chaos's army, and Percy became the Apprentice of Chaos.
