Love is inexplicably beautiful. It’s one of the few things that can be felt by all of the five senses—it can be heard, seen, touched, smelled, and even tasted. Over time and circumstance it has proven its power to change. And this power has taken over our unconscious selves; we are drowned in this power, and we won’t ever be able to escape it once it has successfully done so. Meliorism is a short story collection revolving around romance and its strength. It hopes to prove that, yes, the world actually gets better—that the world may actually be getting better already; we’re just not yet aware of it because we are too lost in powerless forces that will forever be weighing down on us if we don’t start believing.
