The perfectly normal and happy life of the young Marilyne Junfall falls apart on the day she turns 16. A rare and mutated virus-like gen awakens from its incubation period and affects those around her. She herself doesn't fully turn but she gets powers that seem to come right out of a comic book and when it's dark her eyes turn into a different, glowing color. She flees from the now destroyed place she once called home and meets a group of people who seem to have some sort of resistance. They travel around and they are attempting to find a cure. Mari learns that there are others just  like her and  she struggles with the budding feelings she starts to get for two very different boys. One just like her and the other who doesn't hesitate to kill anyone related to the virus. Will they be able to find clues regarding the antidote ? And will she be able to hide her new nature so it is love that blooms instead of hate?Todos los derechos reservados

No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing.
