Alexis, Mel, and Fawn live in a community only for people with speech impediments, syndromes, and disorders. Alexis and Mel are inseparable, Fawn is doing great, and the community is at its peak. A newcomer arrives when everything turns sour. Event after event happens, and the new girl is at an all time low. Secrets devour her, slowly. On the verge of trying to escape her life, she meets an unlikely lover, and under risky circumstances, sketchy plans, and forbidden love, they endanger, rescue and rebuild the world that crumbled with just a sideways glance.
