Guidance and tips for writers . . .that you haven't seen a thousand times before! What's inside (or soon to be): * Essays about the creative process. * How to create realistic characters. * How to avoid writer's block -- forever. * Why reading has nothing to do with writing. * Dodging tons of writing pitfalls. "A Thousand Words" is a project that will take some time to complete. Its ultimate purpose is to combine a highly-distilled and potent collection of writing guidance with my original photography, used to illustrate the points (or just look pretty.) The final work will be a photobook, coffee table style. I'll be writing the content here on Wattpad. (A first for me.) It will be changing and evolving before your eyes, and hopefully, you'll enjoy learning from it and giving your feedback!

People have asked me how I became a writer and have asked for assistance with tips and ideas about writing, editing, and publishing. I'm always willing to pass on anything I've learned if it will help others. I'm not an expert by a long shot, but I've been in the industry since 2010, and I've learned a lot from other authors and editors.
